Advice Services (by appointment only)

Seeking assistance in various areas?  Look no further than our Advice Services.  Our doors are open Monday to Thursday from 9am to 12.30pm, where our team is ready to offer guidance on a range of topics, from general local services to assistance with Blue Badge application's.

While some services require appointments due to their complexiety, we also offer monthly appointments for financial matters such as Carers Allowance and PIP applications.

Excursions

Embark on memorable outings with our Excursions, where we offer a diverse range of trips throughout the year using our specially adapted minibus for disabled use.  For the convenince of our less mobile members, we provide home collection and drop-off services for all outings.  

Explore a variety of destinations including Pub Lunches, Garden Centres, Theatre Productions, and Boat Trips.  To join us on these exciting adventures, membership is required as its a condition for our minibus insurance.

Coffee Morning

Join us every Wednesday from 10am – 11.30am at The Methodist Church Centre in Syston.  Staff and Volunteers host a welcoming enviroment where everyone is invited to join in, chat, and make new friends.  With an average of 25 to 35 attendees per week, there's always a warm atmosphere awaiting you.

Participate in our fun activities like Raffles and Bingo, or sit back and enjoy guest speakers, demonstrations, and entertainment scheduled throughout the year.  Tea, coffee and Biscuits are included.  Plus learn more about our membership benefits and exciting trips exclusively offered to our members.

Day Care Group 1 and Group 2

Discover our vibrant Day Care community, where we have two groups that meet twice a month on Friday's for stimulating activities and outings.  Led by dedicated Day Care leaders and volunteers, we offer a diverse range of experiences at The Hub in Syston, along with a occasional trip out for a Pub Lunch, ensuring a stimulating and enjoyable environment for all.

Merton Group

At our Merton Group, our mission is to combat social isolation by providing outings for individuals.  Led by our dedicated volunteers, our group meets up once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month for engaging excursions.  Whether it's a cozy pub lunch, or a visit to intriguing destinations, our Day Care leader and volunteers ensure a diverse range of activities suitable for all.

Young At Heart

Join us at the Brookside Suite in Syston Community Centre for our Young At Heart group, held every Thursday from 10.30am-1.30pm.  Enjoy a hot delicious two course meal while participating in our weekly activities such as dominoes, live singers and bands.

For those with limited mobility, we offer a convenient minibus service to collect and drop you home.  Come be a part of our vibrant community where laughter and friendship flourish.  Come and experience the warmth of Young At Heart.
